COMMENTS AND RESULTS FROM A VARIETY OF THERAPISTS USING THE SACRO WEDGY®

1. The first is a 67 year old woman whose chief complaint was sacral pain that bothered her only at night to disrupt her sleep. She would awaken with the pain & be awake for 30 to 90 minutes while she got up & walked or tried other things to ease the pain. After using the Sacro Wedgy, she states she is less frequently awakened with night pain. And when she is, she uses the Sacro Wedgy for 10 to 15 minutes in bed and is then able to return to sleep. As a result she is getting an increased amount of restful sleep. Although she was instructed in a general conditioning program, the Sacro Wedgy was the instrumental part of her treatment.

2. Two other clients had sacral pain most likely as a result of Sacro-iliac joint instability. One client is a 56 year old woman who strained her low back and Sacro-iliac region in a posture-related work injury after being deconditioned from a bout of prolonged systemic illnesses. 3. The other of these clients is a 34 year old woman who has a history of multiple work injuries, who had a complaint of Sacro-iliac instability. When she used the Sacro Wedgy she stated "I felt it go back in" and was able to be pain free for instruction in lumbo-pelvic stabilization exercises. She states she gets consistent relief from using the Sacro Wedgy.
